Ways to Support Us
Friends of Teach for Italy works to raise awareness through partnerships and philanthropy to fund the programs necessary to realize Teach for Italy’s vision. By supporting Friends of Teach for Italy, you are impacting students globally — all donations go directly towards Fellowship support, and annually each Fellow impacts over 60 students in Italy.
Fellowship Support
We invite our supporters to consider naming a Fellowship. Your gift will sponsor one (1) Fellow throughout the course of their 2-year Fellowship program, including: training, ongoing coaching, and internship placement. Each Fellow impacts approximately 60 students per year, up to 120 students in a two-year period, and contribute to the the community in which their school is located: Fellows often collaborate with the local community on social impact projects.
Philanthropy Council
The Friends of Teach for Italy Philanthropy Council is the networking and fundraising arm of Teach For Italy. It is anchored in a sense of pride and passion for Italian heritage and culture, as well as its desire to strengthen the Italian educational system and unlock the future for Italian youth. Its members are committed to identifying supporters for TFI’s mission, advocating for TFI to potential donors, and participating in collective philanthropy to advance the goals of TFI. Philanthropy Council members make a 3-year commitment to support Friends of Teach for Italy, and are invited to join a series of events and opportunities to further engage with leadership, Fellows and staff.
Partnership Opportunities
Friends of Teach for Italy seeks opportunities to partner with organizations that are looking to show their commitment to Italian prosperity and that share similar values: a commitment to education and providing opportunities for individuals and communities to succeed – we embody collaboration and we celebrate diverse voices and backgrounds. We aim to create experiences with your organization that raise awareness for TFI’s work through the celebration of Italian food, wine, art, history and culture. Establishing partnerships is one way to spread awareness about the work of Teach for Italy.
Join the Philanthropy Council
Philanthropy Council members will have dedicated ways to engage with the work of Teach For Italy in the United States and in Italy. All members will be invited to a variety of events based on their level of giving.
